We are excited to introduce our new delivery method for wedding films – the flash drive. As technology continues to evolve, we wanted to provide our couples with the best opportunity to see their films for years into the future. All packages will still come with 3 DVDs, but couples will now have the option to upgrade to receive their wedding films on a flash drive as well.

What are the advantages of flash drive media? Well, it is the future of visual media. Just like CDs have turned into mp3 files, DVDs and blue-rays are being replaced with digital video files. The number one advantage is that the files are converted in full high definition format for a better and clearer picture quality. Secondly, newlyweds will be able to copy their wedding films as many times as they want for multiple family members and friends, while also duplicating it for safe keeping. Thirdly, you can transfer the wedding films onto your iphone or ipad, and carry them around with you wherever you go. Finally, video files will allow for easier conversions in the future, if something else “better” comes along.

We met Annoula and Mike through a vendor referral and we hit it off right away. Although she grew up in Massachusetts, Annoula was planning the wedding from her current home in the Cincinnati, Ohio area. We met whenever she was home and by the time our final meeting came along, we had built a great client-vendor relationship.

Annoula stayed close to her roots getting married at the Saint George Greek Orthodox Cathedral in the North End of Springfield. The wedding resembled one held in Boston with the bride’s style, a downtown photo shoot and large reception venue. Annoula and Mike hired a band for some traditional Greek dancing during the reception which added great energy to the reception. Another plus to the day was that we got to work with great vendors including Dave and Eileen from Breveglerei Photography, Dan Cavanaugh from And the Beat Goes On DJ, and Samantha from the Springfield Sheraton. Music from the trailer was licensed through The Music Bed.

Other vendors:

I have been blessed to cross paths with some tremendous photography talent over the past six months. Right at the top of my list is Kristin Spencer Photography out of Newport, RI and they are my vendor of the month for July.

Kristin Spencer Photography is made up of the husband and wife team of Jared and Kristin Spencer. I met up with the talented duo just a few weeks ago while filming a wedding at the State Room in Boston. One of the things I appreciate the most about Kristin is that fact that she communicates well. The day went seamlessly, as we worked together to get all the necessary shots to make each of our respective products as great as they could be for our bride and groom. From the first look at the InterContinental in Boston, to the photo shoot at the Boston Public Gardens, to the ceremony and reception at the State Room, the night could not have gone more seamlessly.

And, that is the side of Kristin and Jared you don’t get to see on their website. What you do get to see is then unbelievable work. The words that come to mind when I see their photography is clean, elegant, well-composed, fun, stylish, and filled with personality (<– I like that ). On their website, Kristin Spencer Photography is described as: edgy-chic, elegant, observant & spontaneous imagery captured as your unique signature of style and personality. Their work speaks for itself. Therefore, whether your in Newport RI, Boston or the New York City, keep Kristin and Jared on the top of your vendor list when searching for a wedding photographer.

We haven’t posted any clips from our family films in a while so here’s a new one. In our most recent Family Film, it was a destination film of sorts as we captured precious little Trinity in her Florida home this past spring. This little peanut, who turns two this summer, played with her Mom and Dad around the pool and gobbled up some lunch during our visit. This is just a short video clip from the full family film of Trinity and her family, but it captures her at an age where she is really beginning to express herself – they can here that little voice, see those little fingers and toes, and watch that smile over and over again.
