There are certain couples that just have it! I can’t completely define “it”, but Jenny and Dave have it. It’s a look, an energy, a smile that just makes you feel good. And, I know it inspires me. It also makes it easy to create awesome Boston wedding films.

Jenny + Dave met through friends, but it took a few meetings before these two officially started dating. We met Jenny and Dave way back in 2015, and we just connected with them immediately. It felt like we had known them for years after just 10 minutes of talking. We became social media friends, even following their dog Skylar’s Instagram page (if you didn’t know, we love dogs).  Their Cape Cod wedding was one that we had circled on our calendar all year long.

We started the day just a stone’s throw from the water at Jenny’s parents Cape Cod vacation home, while Dave and his boys got ready at a second house just a few blocks inland. The wedding and reception took place at the Oyster Harbors Club in Osterville, MA. There is nothing like a perfect day weather-wise when you can spend it along the water. We got to work with one of our favorite photographers in Randall Garnick, as we mesh so well with his relaxed personality and dry sense of humor

It’s great when a groom writes awesome vows like Dave did, but it is even more amazing when he delivers them with an unmatched love and passion for his bride. That was the one part of the day that stood out to me the most in a wedding with so, so many great moments. So, for their wedding trailer film, we focused on the passion, the love and the delivery of Dave’s words. Enjoy our latest Boston wedding film which was given as a surprise gift from Dave to Jenny on Christmas Eve. (Photo Credit – Randall Garnick Photography).

I love surprises, but it is so hard to hold onto such a great wedding trailer film until Christmas. That’s what happens when a Kara’s Mom decided to surprise her daughter and new son-in-law with a wedding trailer film for the holidays. After a barrage of Boston wedding films this fall, we spent a Friday night in the Western Mass. hills at Quonquont Farm in Whateley, Massachusetts.  Kara and Matt’s wedding could not have taken place on a nicer, fall day with blue skies and a perfect array of scenery at the farm. The ceremony took place in Quonquont’s apple orchard, which set-up a gorgeous apple tree-lined aisle for Kara and her dad to walk down. The golden hour and sunset photo session had us all gasping in awe, as this beautiful couple filled out the gorgeous scenery in the farm magnificently.

It also makes the day nicer when you are working with an all-star team of vendors from the western half of the state. It was the first of two fall weddings that we shared with Love and Perry Photography, as Shana and Brittney provide the perfect compliment to our shooting style and wedding films. Check out their sneak peak from the wedding HERE. Also, with us throughout the day were wedding planners Ruthie and Lauren from Eutopia Events and Shawn Santanello from Viren Entertainment. What an awesome day! Enjoy our latest Boston wedding film…

We met Emily And Steve through a referral from JPod Productions’ Assistant Shooter and Feature Film Editor Mia Major. Emily and Mia have similar tastes when it comes to weddings and design, which made Emily a perfect fit for our latest Boston Wedding Film.

Emily and Steve were married at the always elegant and gorgeous Lord Thompson Manor in Thompson, Connecticut. Emily brought in a friend, Christine Cardot of HandyGerl, to design many elements of her wedding decor. Once you took Christine’s elements and combined them with the vision of Jackie Silverton at The Lord Thompson Manor, the wedding was destined to be flat out gorgeous. We always love the tablescapes at The Lord Thompson Manor, as Jackie’s designs are always elegant and timeless. The wedding day included a highly anticipated first look, personal vows, and a couch set-up (inspired from Pinterest) that was the feature of a quick, but amazing night photo session.

The newly married Mr. & Mrs. Sprofera hired some rock star vendors too, as they brought in the uber-talented Love and Perry Photography. After two weddings with Brittany Love and Shana Perry this fall, we are in love with their work, not to mention the collaborative environment we were able to create with them on the wedding day. That is a win-win for the couple. We also enjoyed the professionalism and atmosphere created by Keith Alan of Keith Alan Productions, and I’m always excited to see a Michelle Bohigian wedding cake at our weddings. Something Sweet by Michelle’s cakes are always beautiful, and always even more delicious. Enjoy our latest Boston Wedding Film from just south of the Massachusetts border in Thompson, Connecticut.

For some couples, it’s love at first sight. For Katie and Mike, love took a little time. But, once the timing was right, Katie and Mike became an amazing match. Their wedding trailer is the quick version of their love story that started in Pelham, New Hampshire, and continued into Boston, Massachusetts. We were bummed that Katie and Mike’s chocolate lab, Bella, wasn’t able to be a part of the day. But, no worries, we found a way to include her in their upcoming feature film.

This Boston couple chose to have a destination wedding in the Bershires of Massachusetts, as they chose the gorgeous and historic Cranwell Resort, Spa & Golf Club as their backdrop. A little rain tried to dampen their day, but great couples, like Katie and Mike, shine despite the rain. Tricia McCormack of Tricia McCormack Photography and I had a great time photographing these two around the showers. We found a great little porch area in the center of Lenox that served as the perfect place to do some of the couples photo session. Carolyn Valenti of Queen Anne’s Lace created an elegant and timeless floral display in Cranwell’s main ballroom for Katie and Mike, before they danced all night to the Boston party band, Bear Fight. We can’t wait to expand this Berkshire wedding film into a feature film in the coming months.

Jonathan and Mark chose to celebrate their marriage in Berkshires of Massachusetts, an area in which they vacation multiple times per year. This Miami couple did a fabulous job with their planner Samatha Talora and Floral Designer Carolyn Valenti in creating gorgeous ceremony  and reception spaces in the afternoon light at the Cranwell Resort, Spa and Golf Club in Lenox, MA.

Mark and John were accompanied by their two children, Hershel and Ava, as they were married under a elegantly decorated Chuppah on the resort’s Rose Terrace. The couple admitted to being a little monogram-happy, as everything from their shirts, to their suits, to the belt loops, to the napkins in the bathrooms carried the Kravitz monogram. One of the highlights of the wedding day was most definitely Jonathan and Mark’s first dance, which was a two-song choreographed performance that includes several dips and lots of pizazz.

For this Boston wedding film, we got to work with so many of the best vendors in the Berkshires, including the fore mentioned Carolyn Valeniti, as well as very-talented photgrapher Tricia McCormack. The Boston band Night Rhythm followed us down the Mass Pike for this wedding and they kept the party going all afternoon long. Despite the rain that fall just outside the Rose Terrace during the cermony, the day was a near perfect one for Jonathan and Mark! Congrats gentlemen!

To say this couple has personality would be the understatement of the year. Tara and Matt are two people who just know how to make each other laugh and they bring out the best in each other and everyone around them. Matt was so good, he even made Tara laugh out loud before touching her heart in the same sentence. As for John Fleming, Tara’s Dad, he has hit the jackpot with three beautiful daughters and now three great son-in-laws. The bittersweet part of this wedding was that Tara is the last Fleming daughter to be married, which ends our run of Boston wedding videos with this family.

Tara got her wish for some winter snow as a coating of fresh powder fell in the overnight hours of her wedding day. Tara’s favorite holiday is Christmas, which is easy to see in this wedding film and the obvious theme of the day. This wedding trailer film is only the tip of the iceberg, as personalized vows, an emotional gift exchange, a fun photo session and an energetic reception, including a visit from Santa Claus himself, will make this an unbelievable feature film for the Smiths. Tara and Matt also get extra credit because they understood the importance of filming their wedding day and made it a priority during the planning process. They will have great memories to share for a lifetime. Will you? #Flithsbecomesmiths2013

After a record number of wedding trailer films in 2012, we are excited to see a recent spike in the number of couples starting to add-on these awesome previews of the final product. This wedding trailer comes from a wonderful venue, Riverside Farm in Pittsfield, Vermont. The venue provided an upscale, but yet rural Vermont setting for Jessica Broker and Zach Gavell’s November wedding day.

This Vermont wedding video was the result of a Long Island girl heading to the Green Mountains for college and meeting her future husband. A sweet and relaxed couple, Jessica and Zach’s vision for the day was to have lots of candles and that is exactly what was created by the design team that included Trish from the Pittsfield Garden Center. In addition to the candles, Zach was enamored with the gift book that Jessica gave him during the pre-wedding portion of the day. It was also the first sparkler send-off that we have had in a while, which is always a cool way to end the wedding day.

It was an ever-changing day weather-wise with partly sunny skies for part of the day, before clouds rolled back in for the evening. Working with Paula and Rick from Cronin Hill Photography, DJ Dave and make-up artist Vivian Infantino made this Vermont wedding video a fun one to film.

As a Boston wedding videographer,  it is nice to receive a little publicity outside of the city. This week our Amy + Justin wedding video trailer from the Killington Grand Resort Hotel was featured on the Vermont Vows wedding blog. The Vermont Vows blog is run by WellWed magazine which has specific blogs for weddings in Vermont, Nantucket, Cape Cod and the Hamptons. The Green Mountain-themed wedding featured birch trees and limbs decorating the reception, tree-trunk table numbers, cute mason jars for the bridal bouquets and yellow shoes for the bride that really popped. We, at JPod Productions, were so happy with the response that we received for our first ever Best Wedding Trailer of 2012 Contest! First, I want to thank all of the people who took the time to watch all five wedding video trailers and vote for their favorites.

With that being said, the Winner of the 2012 Contest is Annoula and Mike Bikas! Their wedding had a great ethnic element mixed in with some downtown flair this past summer. They will receive a $250 gift certificate to the home store of their choice.

Using a random number generated, we also selected two voters to win $25 gift certificates to the restaurant or store of their choice. The first winner is Dino Gravenis who voted on Facebook for our winners, Annoula and Mike. The second winner is Michelle Elizabeth who also voted on Facebook and her favorite wedding video trailer was Melissa and Jayson’s film from Saltwater Farm Vineyard.  Thanks again for participating and we’ll see you next year!

Our wedding trailers have become more and more popular every year, as they are a great option for recently married couples to take an early glimpse into their wedding day. As Boston Wedding Videographers, we design these 90-second to 2-minute wedding films to be quick hitting features leaving couples excited for their full films. Listed below are five of our wedding trailers from this past year and we want you to vote for the one that you think is the best (Sorry, Anne + Anthony fans. As a filmmaker for JPod Productions, Anne is not eligible to win this contest). The winning couple/trailer will get a $250.00 gift certificate to the home store of the couple’s choice. Additionally, two voters will be chosen at random to win a $25 gift certificate to the store or restaurant of their choice. VOTING WILL END ON FRIDAY JANUARY 18TH at 5:00 PM. Our Winners will be announced on Monday, January 21st.

Vote up to four ways. Here’s how the voting will work:

—> On JPod Productions FACEBOOK page, ‘LIKE’ the Video you think is the best— ONE VOTE — CLICK HERE

—> Share your favorite trailer from the JPod Productions FACEBOOK page with a link to the contest — TWO VOTES — CLICK HERE

—> Pin the video on your PINTEREST Board — ONE VOTECLICK HERE

—> Comment on the video you like at the bottom of this blog post (I will approve comments shortly to avoid spam)— ONE VOTE

So, each person can vote four ways for their favorite video. Those four ways add up to a maximum of five votes. And finally, you may only vote once using each method. Therefore, commenting multiple times on a video will still only equate to one vote (but feel free to share the contest as often as you’d like 🙂 ). The more you vote, the better chance you will have to win those two additional $25.00 gift certificates! And here are the entries:

Emily + Andrew

Kevin + Kay

Annoula + Michael

Amy + Justin

Melissa + Jayson

So, what is your favorite Boston Wedding Video?
