There are wedding days where everything just comes together. A beautiful couple. A beautiful venue. Peak fall foliage. Great professionals to work alongside. And, not only perfect weather, but perfect timing with that weather. There might have been a fast approaching storm that almost interrupted the post-ceremony speeches, but Emily and Steve Sprofera had the perfect weather conditions during their ceremony.

In our latest Boston Wedding Film Clip, we feature the ceremony portion of Emily and Steve’s wedding at the gorgeous Lord Thompson Manor in Thompson, Connecticut. This venue is a hidden gem outside of the I-495 corridor, but well within driving distance from the city. The processional of the ceremony was one of my favorite parts of this wedding film, as the sun continuously peaked through the trees as the wedding party made their way down the aisle. Add to that, bride Emily and friend Christine Cardot of HandyGer created an amazing design at the top of the aisle with two painted wooden doors inviting the wedding party towards the orange and yellow-leaved, fall backdrop.

The film starts with the first look, as Emily reads a card Steve wrote to her earlier in the day. From there, the ceremony gives you parts of the couple’s personally-written vows, as we sprinkled them throughout the entire- 21-minute feature film. Add to the vows, a great reading about the “Meaning of Love” and the audio portions of this wedding were priceless. We got to work with one of our favorite photography duos with Brittany Love and Shana Perry of Love and Perry Photography. Credit them with a few of the great set-ups we used within the ceremony portion of the film. I think Jackie at Lord Thompson will have couples duplicating the table and couch set-ups for years to come. Enjoy our latest Boston Wedding Film from just south of the Massachusetts border in Thompson, Connecticut.

I still remember the first phone conversation I had with Deirdre, as her energy and infectious personality were clearly evident when talking about her and Tom’s upcoming wedding in the Berkshires of Massachusetts. They were planning their wedding at the Seven Hills Inn in Lenox, MA, which was going to be a new venue for us. We were also excited because this would be a military wedding. Tom is a marine and the tight bond of the groomsman was a key element in this wedding film.

Our Berkshire weddings always take on a different feel than a traditional Boston wedding video and this ceremony was no different, as it was held in the gorgeous backyard of the Seven Hills Inn. A long walk from the Inn down to a shaded ceremony space makes for a grand entrance for the bride and the rural feel of the venue was simply gorgeous. The couple included a military exit from the ceremony, which included the arch of swords and a sword tap on the behind of the newly married Mrs. Duff. Welcome to the Marine Corps family Deirdre. The feature film clip below includes the final four minutes of the prep that lead up to the ceremony including an emotional speech from the groom, and excited set of bridesmaids as the Deirdre’s dress was going on and a personality-filled first look to cap it off. I loved Tom for his thoughtfulness throughout the day and beyond as he was the planner of the honeymoon. Tom wowed Deirdre with the surprise honeymoon location of Italy, as Deirdre was able to visit the actual location where her extended family was located. The newly married couple actually had dinner with some of Deirdre’s relatives that she had never met before. Deirdre was ecstatic when she returned, as shared the details of the honeymoon with us.

We were also lucky to work with one of my favorite photographers in Eric Limon from Eric Limon Photography. His style matches ours to a tee, as he is so relaxed and fun throughout the day. Without further ado, enjoy our most recent Boston wedding video…

Tiffany and Matt Renfro simply found us through the internet as they liked the work we had online from their venue, the Boston Four Seasons Hotel. They are quiet and sweet couple, but they have surrounded themselves with a great group of friends and family which is evident in this highlight film. This Boston wedding video was held exclusively at the Four Seasons with the ceremony in the Governor’s Room and the reception in the main ballroom.

The highlight film is supported strongly by the heartfelt speech from Tiffany’s Dad, Ralph Silva. One of things listed on our Top Ten Things to Make Your Wedding Film Better is to have the Father of the Bride give a welcome toast, and this wedding film is a great example of why that is such a good idea. Ralph talks about being the protective father that never thought there might be a guy good enough for his little girl. Well, that was until Matt Renfro came along. The details, flowers, lighting, the beautiful Oakleaf-designed cake, right down to Tiffany’s Badgley Mischka shoes were so well put together as this wedding screamed stunning elegance.

Take a four-minute ride through our latest Boston wedding video as we worked alongside some of the best vendors in the city, including photographers Jill and Lauren from Person + Killian Photography. The Wilson Stevens band Eye 2 Eye could have been the best band we have ever worked with, as they packed the dance floor all night long and handled the often over-looked Emcee duties with energy and professionalism.
