Ever since we filmed Kate + Bryan’s wedding in Hyannisport in 2014, the small residential village has been one of our favorite and most visited locations on Cape Cod for our Boston wedding films. This time, it was another Bryan with a “Y”, as Jacqui and Bryan were getting married in this gorgeous little nook on the Cape. This New York City couple grew up on the Cape, but they found us organically after seeing Kate and Bryan’s wedding at their same reception venue, The Hyannisport Club.

Jacqui got ready in her parent’s quintessential Cape home and her morning with the girls had so many cute little moments from her flower girl’s innocent sassiness to the first looks that she did with her Dad and her bridesmaids. Bryan got ready nearby and the boys in their blue suits with light blue ties were dressed to impress. A beautiful church ceremony at Our Lady of Assumption was followed by a nice, but quick photo shoot by the water as some quick moving showers passed through the area. The reception took place at the beautiful Hyannisport Club, which boasts one of the best looking sunsets on the Cape because of its southwest location on the Hyannisport peninsula.

We got to work alongside the talented Todd Wilson Images duo of Todd and Sarah, while the band Splash from Wilson Stevens came down from Boston to rock the party all night long. Not only was there a constant, packed dance floor, but the dance party ended with the newlyweds up in the air much like you would see in the hora dance at a Jewish wedding. The bride and groom finished the night with a sparkler exit which capped off a perfect Boston wedding film on Cape Cod.

Courtney and James were married on familiar turf for us, as their church and reception venue in Hyannis Port, Massachusetts matched that of Kate and Bryan’s wedding from a few years earlier. Beyond the wedding locations, Courtney, James and I bonded quite quickly during our first Skype conversation. Then, when Courtney and I found out that we shared an alma mater in UMASS, Amherst, it was like we were long time friends. I even got invited to take part in the UMASS group photo at the reception! The only bummer in this wedding was that Courtney and James’ dog, Race, was not going to be part of the wedding festivities.

This nautical-themed wedding started with a first look and photo session on the beach at the Hyannisport Yacht Club, which also neighbors the famous Kennedy Estate. The scenic photo session is featured throughout the couple’s wedding film, but it didn’t compare to the amazing sunset photos that were captured later at the Hyannisport Club. The ceremony took place in the quaint Union Chapel, which was standing room only to see Courtney and James exchange amazing, heart-felt vows. The reception moved over to the scenic Hyannisport Club for three great speeches, an amazing sunset and a party that did not stop all evening on the outdoor deck.

We got to work with some great wedding professionals as we filmed along side Molly and Erika from Molly Anne Photography. And, we couldn’t say enough about the band The Sugarbabies out of Boston. Their energy was electric and they kept the dance floor packed all night long. Enjoy our latest Boston Wedding Film.

Kate and Bryan had the quintessential Cape Cod wedding in the heart of Hyannisport, Massachusetts. Although Bryan hails from Texas, his family owns a home by the Hyannis waterside and the area had already provided many memories for his family before this all important wedding day. The wedding day never left us more than a few steps from the water and the weather could not have cooperated any better on this fall, September wedding.

Although this wedding took place in the fall, it had really had a summer feel. Besides the warm weather, this Cape Cod wedding film features lawn games, a trolley ride, a photo session on the beach and a gorgeous sunset over the waters outside the Hyannisport Club. The details were so well manicured too, as the blue, white and yellow nautical theme carried throughout the day. From the personalized timeline, to the groomsman’s ties and yellow anchor socks, to a clean and classic blue and white ribbon cake, as well as message bottle place cards, Kate and Bryan’s wedding was a model for future Cape Cod weddings and events to follow. This Hyannis Wedding Film had some great special touches as well, as Kate put lockets on each of the Mother’s flowers. The lockets included pictures of the Mother’s parents who had passed on before the wedding. It was a really special moment from the morning. The ceremony was also officiated with a southern accent, as Brian’s childhood pastor traveled up to Cape Cod to lead the ceremony.

The ceremony for this Cape Cod Wedding film took place at Union Chapel in Hyannisport, while the ceremony moved up the road to the Hyannisport Club which was the site of the spectacular sunset that evening. We were lucky to work with the easy-going and very talented Ned Jackson of Ned Jackson Photography. The flowers were as gorgeous as they come from Judy Fligg of All About Flowers, and the Band Search Party kept everyone dancing all night long. Enjoy our latest Boston Wedding Film which was featured on Style Me Pretty on the shores of Hyannis, Massachusetts.

We were excited to see that Style Me Pretty decided to feature our quintessential Cape Cod wedding with Kate and Bryan on their blog this week. The Hyannis Wedding was a nautical-themed wedding with great little Cape Cod touches like yellow anchor socks for the boys, message bottle place cards at the reception and monkey knots and nautical ropes as appetizers at the cocktail hour just to name a few. I’ll let you read and see the rest of the details within the Style Me Pretty article. The reception took place at the beautiful Hyannisport Club which delivered a killer sunset over the Nantucket Sound and great photo opportunities with the couple. Both Kate and Bryan’s families were so warm and gracious throughout the process, as we felt like a part of the family all weekend long.

We worked alongside our Boston counterpart Ned Jackson Photography seamlessly throughout the wedding day. Ned’s awesome array of clean and classic pictures are featured throughout the Style Me Pretty post.
