Paige and Eric were married on a beautiful August day last summer at the scenic Wianno Club along the ocean waters of Osterville, Massachusetts. It was a simple, classic Cape Cod wedding with a natural feel including a color palette filled with greens and whites. Paige got ready at the family’s nearby home and traveled over to the Wianno Club in a vintage car with her Dad. From there, the rest of the wedding day unfolded in and around the beautiful “shingle-styled” building along the Atlantic Ocean.

The beautiful grounds of the Wianno Club played backdrop to the couple’s first look and a photo session that included the couple venturing onto a gorgeous rock formation overlooking the ocean. After a pre-ceremony cocktail reception with sparkling champagne, the couple exchanged vows in front of the ocean as the sun came out to warm up the event. During the cocktail hour, Paige and her parents arranged a surprise for Eric as a plane flew by with a banner that read “Paige and Eric: Shipmates Forever”. The decor of the event included an array of hydrangeas that made the wedding day so elegant from beginning to end. The wonderful speeches revolved around the great character of these two as their paths crossed on the campus of Cornell University.

We were fortunate to work alongside Lisa Rigby of Lisa Rigby Photography. The wedding was planned by Elegant Engagements of Cape Cod. This was a blessing as the on-site vendor team of Megan, Erica, and Sara from Elegant Engagements were on top of every detail and made the whole day run so smoothly. Enjoy this quintessential Cape Cop wedding film…

Every year we get to shoot at a lot of new and beautiful wedding venues, and recently many of those have been in the heart of Boston. Earlier this year, that venue was the Four Seasons. It was an elegant, winter wedding that that brought Emily Glenn and Andrew Cleary together in a ceremony that had a ton of personality, thanks to officiant Elly Jackson. The couple and their wedding party were just a pleasure to work with, as we had a great time from the bride’s preparations right through to late night dancing. The classic, winter white decor was breathtaking from start to finish and every detail of this wedding were perfect. As a Boston wedding videographer, this had all of the elements of a wedding we love to film!

In this feature film clip, the focus is on the bride and groom’s prep’s leading up to the ceremony. We start with the exchange of gifts as Andrew blew away Emily with his choice of jewelry. Emily’s gift for Andrew showed up at a less opportune time, but it made for a fun moment in the wedding film. Nonetheless, the personality within the preparations demonstrates how every wedding film tells a different story. The video clip ends with a great first look on the staircase of the Four Seasons Boston. It’s definitely a classic Boston Wedding video.

I met Emily and Andrew Cleary through a family connection and after our first conversation, I knew that they were the perfect fit for our company. It was the first of two weddings that we had during a busy weekend just after Valentine’s Day, and it was another mild winter day in downtown Boston. It was just warm enough to sneak outside for a photo session with the rest of the events taking place inside the Four Seasons Boston.

Emily and Andrew were married in the elegantly decorated Governor’s Room at the Four Seasons, with Lotus Designs Flowers giving the room every beautiful touch imaginable from flower petals down the aisle runner, to a variety of candles romanticizing the room, to breathtaking floral arrangements near the front of the aisle. Officiant Elly Jackson did a wonderful job telling the story of Emily and Andrew, which was the backbone of the ceremony and the movie trailer below.

After the cocktail hour, guests moved into the Four Seasons Ballroom for the reception, which was even more spectacular with Susan B. Lowell Lighting Design illuminating the room perfectly. Greg Hodges of 5 Star Events DJ led the couple in with an energy-building introduction that even included a surprise from the father of the groom. Greg’s music created a fabulous atmosphere for the guests all night long. We were so blessed to work with even more tremendous vendors all day and night, as Philip Deschamps and the catering staff at the Four Seasons Boston were great. Lisa Rigby of Lisa Rigby Photography (pictures attached to link) was just a pleasure to work alongside, and the cake from Icing on the Cake was beautiful and delicious (yep, I had to try the red velvet tier at the end of the night). Helping Emily look her best were Lindsey B. of Jorgo Salon (Hair) and Dani Wagener (make-up), while her dress was a design from Kenneth Pool.
