We loved seeing these two families come together as Alex, the Boston girl, was blending with Alex and his Dominican Republic background. The wedding came together as one that was chic with clean lines, while incorporating a little bit of a Caribbean feel through the location, flowers and music. The mix of cultures added to the couple’s great personalities really allowed this Boston wedding film to flourish.

With the wedding taking place on Nantucket, it definitely brought on the island feel that was familiar to much of Ellery’s family. The day was an overcast “grey lady” day on the island with an added strong breeze off the ocean waters arising during the ceremony. The film opens with local artist Sergio Roffo rendering a new painting of the Sankaty Head Light which added some sweet Nantucket character to this wedding film. After the girls finished getting ready at the family’s house on the island, the scene shifted over to the scenic Sankaty Beach Club. Ellery and the gentlemen finished getting ready at the club before the ceremony took place over looking the ocean waters.

The reception moved down the road to the Sankaty Head Golf Club which sits not too far from the Sankaty Head Light that opens this Nantucket wedding film. The reception was filled with so many smiling faces, amazing speeches, a birthday cake for both the Mother of the Bride and Mother of the Groom, and dancing…lots of dancing! The band Clique had the dance floored packed all night long with an array of music which even included some outstanding salsa dancing. The night ended with Alex’s brothers (with help) decorating a black Audi convertible and the couple exiting through their guests to ride away in that car on their first night as a married couple. I hope you enjoy our latest Feature Film.

By choosing the Willowdale Estate for their wedding, Kathryn and John Pasinski really found a venue that captured their love for the outdoors. Their wedding brought many parts of the country together with Texas and mid-western charm and the many New England ties which combining into a “elegant and fun” event as Kathryn put it. This couple, who met on online, had a great connection that really comes through in their Boston wedding film.

Kathryn and John both got ready in the morning at the Willowdale Estate in separate ends of the building before meeting for a first look outside on the beautiful property in Topsfield, Massachusetts. Their photo session was interrupted by a quick moving, but hard hitting thundershower. Fortunately, the rained moved past in time for a classic, Willowdale ceremony in front of the beautifully stoned building. The reception followed under the venue’s large tent, which was a feature that drew Kathryn and John to this property. We loved the array of details that you will see throughout the film including the initial on the front door, the lawn games made available during cocktail hour and the gorgeous tablescapes and wrapped beams created by Gregory and his team at Flou(-e)r Specialty Floral Events.

The couple exchanged personal written vows that really put an intimate touch on the wedding, while Kathryn’s father’s toast was one filled with love and sentiment. We loved working with Zev Fisher of Zev Fischer Photography, and the band Young Love and the Thrills kept the party rocking all night long. The couple exited the wedding with a pom pom send off, as the couple rode off to begin their married life together.

Tyler Unwin was the first of two JPod filmmakers and editors to get married in 2017. Tyler edited for us when he was in college at Western New England University, and he has now worked his way up the television chain to become a full-time videographer at Fox 25 News in Boston. Tyler met his beautiful bride Devon in their hometown in Vermont, as these high school sweethearts have stood the test of time including challenging bouts of long distance dating to reach their wedding day in the fall of 2017.

Tyler and Devon chose the beautiful Oceancliff Resort and Hotel as the backdrop for their fall wedding day. Devon and the girls got ready in one of my favorite bridal suite spaces, the Gatehouse, which is located at the front of the 10 acre property over looking Narragansett Bay. The card and gift exchange were very emotional, as Tyler wowed the bridal suite crowd with a box of Venus ET Fleur eternal roses. The couple chose to do a first look and pre-ceremony photo session, which I highly recommend if you want to look your best and have more time to enjoy your cocktail hour and reception.

The weather was picture perfect for an early October Day in Newport, Rhode Island. Devon and Tyler chose to have their wedding late in the afternoon taking advantage of their golden hour light by the water. What they didn’t expect is that a cruise ship would travel through the Bay right as Devon came down the aisle. The ship was kind enough to send a congratulatory horn signal to Devon and Tyler right as the ceremony was about to begin. It’s a moment that the couple and their guests will be talking about for years to come. A beautiful sunset graced the cocktail hour, as it may have been our best sunset of the year. In addition to the beautiful traditional decor, Devon and Tyler made sure that their dog, Coco, was included in the details. They had cutouts of Coco for their photo booth, and a doggie bag bar for guests to bring home treats to their lovable, furry friends. Enjoy our latest Boston wedding film from the edge of Narragansett Bay.

We met Maggie and Matt through a mutual friend of ours and Maggie and I hit it off right away when we first talked. We were excited as this Boston wedding film was going to be the first one ever at the JFK Library and Museum. Although the Library and Museum has been in existence since 1979, 2017 was the first year that this beautiful space began hosting weddings. And, what a space it is! Between the towering windows and ocean views from the cocktail hour space to the 10 acre property outside, to the reception space with endless possibilities, this venue has quickly established itself as one of the elite wedding venues in Boston.

Maggie and Matt’s wedding fit the space perfectly, as elegant was the perfect word to explain every part of their wedding. As I say that, I kind of laugh. Because, even though Maggie and Matt carry that elegance, they have a cute, quirky side that makes them such a great couple. Throughout the day, you could see how connected they were with their inside jokes and continued laughter.

The wedding preps took place at another iconic space, the Park Plaza Hotel in Boston. It had such a great, relaxed feel all morning. You knew the bride was relaxed when she started steaming bridesmaids dresses. The day really got going as Maggie and Matt did a first look in the light rain outside the Boston Park Plaza Hotel. In the wedding film, the couple’s great connection really comes through during this first meeting. The rain stuck around for much of the day, but we were still able to sneak in an outdoor photo session under the trees in the Boston Public Gardens. The night continued into the JFK Library and Museum, which was transformed into an amazing space between the work of New Leaf Flores, DesignLight, and the JFK coordinator Jeannie Spence. We also have to add that we loved the post dinner treats and snacks – Blackbird Donuts and Fenway Franks. Thats a win-win! Enjoy our latest Boston wedding film from the city’s newest sophisticated venue.

As much as we love our Boston wedding films, one of my other favorite places to film a wedding is in the Berkshire Hills of Massachusetts. When traveling out west, we always seem to cross paths with the greatest couples from New York City. Katie and Dave were no exception. Their sophisticated wedding took place at the Wheatleigh, a 22-acre romantic hotel nestled in the wedding-rich town of Lenox. This wedding didn’t just capture our eyes, as it was also featured recently on the Style Me Pretty blog.

Katie and Dave’s love story started at work, as the two worked together in a small group within a bank in New York City. What was charming about their story was the fact they tried to hide their early dating ways only to find out later that everyone knew what was going on the whole time. After a romantic proposal in Paris, Katie and Dave ventured a couple hours outside the city to declare their vows at the majestic and Florentine-inspired Wheatleigh Grand Hotel in Lenox. As Katie described it, their guests were transported to an Italian villa, with less travel time and the comforts of home. This Berkshire wedding film carries a travel theme, but what stood out the most were the floral accents put together by wedding planner Leslie Price of In Any Event Planning, Production and Design and Sayles Livingston Flowers that cascaded from the ceremony backdrop to the elegant tented reception on the back lawn of the Wheatleigh.

We crossed paths with some new wedding professionals as photographer Heather Waraksa was a pleasure to work with and I must give her credit for selecting the balcony for the bride’s final stages of getting ready. The extra natural light took Katie in her Michelle Lhuiller dress from gorgeous to breathtaking just by taking few short steps onto that balcony. The Hal Prince Band kept everyone rocking on the dance floor all night long, which always makes our job so much easier. Nothing ends a wedding film better than a fire pit with smores and a sparkler exit. Enjoy our latest Boston wedding film from the Berkshire Hills of Massachusetts.

I met Kala Rama and Anthony Dilorenzo through mutual friends, as all three of us spent the early parts of our television careers at WWLP-22News, the NBC-affiliate in Springfield, Massachusetts. Kala and Anthony have since moved on to Orlando where Kala is an anchor at WKMG LOCAL 6, while Anthony is a reporter at competing station WFTV Channel 9. The two of them were excellent journalists right from day one, so to see them vault their careers to bigger markets was no surprise. And with that background, now there was a little extra pressure to produce a great Boston Wedding Film for them, because they knew and understood the ins and outs of the video world.

As for the wedding, it was everything you would expect from a duo that lives and works in a fast-pace world. With Anthony’s roots in New England, the couple chose Newport, Rhode island for their wedding destination. Preparations took place at the elegant Viking Hotel on Bellevue Avenue with the ceremony taking place at St. Joseph’s Parish in heart of Newport. After a fun trip on their trolley filming the photo session around the downtown wharfs of Newport, the reception took place at the breathtaking Rosecliff Mansion. From the same location used to film scenes in The Great Gatsby and True Lies, Kala and Anthony had a reception in a ballroom that filled with tremendous energy all night long.

Credit the Zoo Band for keeping the crowd engaged and dancing all night long. There was no time to sit down at this event, as the dance floor was literally packed from start to finish. I always say that a bride and groom drive the dance floor, and Kala and Anthony were on the dance floor all night having the time of their life with their family and friends. We also got to work with a great photography team in Dan and Nicole from Linked Ring Photography out of our home area of Boston. The cake came from Beantown too, as Montilio’s magnificent 5-tier cake towered over guests as they entered the main reception room. We chose a high-energy song from OneRepublic to match this couples personalities in our latest Boston Wedding Film.

I love surprises, but it is so hard to hold onto such a great wedding trailer film until Christmas. That’s what happens when a Kara’s Mom decided to surprise her daughter and new son-in-law with a wedding trailer film for the holidays. After a barrage of Boston wedding films this fall, we spent a Friday night in the Western Mass. hills at Quonquont Farm in Whateley, Massachusetts.  Kara and Matt’s wedding could not have taken place on a nicer, fall day with blue skies and a perfect array of scenery at the farm. The ceremony took place in Quonquont’s apple orchard, which set-up a gorgeous apple tree-lined aisle for Kara and her dad to walk down. The golden hour and sunset photo session had us all gasping in awe, as this beautiful couple filled out the gorgeous scenery in the farm magnificently.

It also makes the day nicer when you are working with an all-star team of vendors from the western half of the state. It was the first of two fall weddings that we shared with Love and Perry Photography, as Shana and Brittney provide the perfect compliment to our shooting style and wedding films. Check out their sneak peak from the wedding HERE. Also, with us throughout the day were wedding planners Ruthie and Lauren from Eutopia Events and Shawn Santanello from Viren Entertainment. What an awesome day! Enjoy our latest Boston wedding film…

We met Emily And Steve through a referral from JPod Productions’ Assistant Shooter and Feature Film Editor Mia Major. Emily and Mia have similar tastes when it comes to weddings and design, which made Emily a perfect fit for our latest Boston Wedding Film.

Emily and Steve were married at the always elegant and gorgeous Lord Thompson Manor in Thompson, Connecticut. Emily brought in a friend, Christine Cardot of HandyGerl, to design many elements of her wedding decor. Once you took Christine’s elements and combined them with the vision of Jackie Silverton at The Lord Thompson Manor, the wedding was destined to be flat out gorgeous. We always love the tablescapes at The Lord Thompson Manor, as Jackie’s designs are always elegant and timeless. The wedding day included a highly anticipated first look, personal vows, and a couch set-up (inspired from Pinterest) that was the feature of a quick, but amazing night photo session.

The newly married Mr. & Mrs. Sprofera hired some rock star vendors too, as they brought in the uber-talented Love and Perry Photography. After two weddings with Brittany Love and Shana Perry this fall, we are in love with their work, not to mention the collaborative environment we were able to create with them on the wedding day. That is a win-win for the couple. We also enjoyed the professionalism and atmosphere created by Keith Alan of Keith Alan Productions, and I’m always excited to see a Michelle Bohigian wedding cake at our weddings. Something Sweet by Michelle’s cakes are always beautiful, and always even more delicious. Enjoy our latest Boston Wedding Film from just south of the Massachusetts border in Thompson, Connecticut.

For some couples, it’s love at first sight. For Katie and Mike, love took a little time. But, once the timing was right, Katie and Mike became an amazing match. Their wedding trailer is the quick version of their love story that started in Pelham, New Hampshire, and continued into Boston, Massachusetts. We were bummed that Katie and Mike’s chocolate lab, Bella, wasn’t able to be a part of the day. But, no worries, we found a way to include her in their upcoming feature film.

This Boston couple chose to have a destination wedding in the Bershires of Massachusetts, as they chose the gorgeous and historic Cranwell Resort, Spa & Golf Club as their backdrop. A little rain tried to dampen their day, but great couples, like Katie and Mike, shine despite the rain. Tricia McCormack of Tricia McCormack Photography and I had a great time photographing these two around the showers. We found a great little porch area in the center of Lenox that served as the perfect place to do some of the couples photo session. Carolyn Valenti of Queen Anne’s Lace created an elegant and timeless floral display in Cranwell’s main ballroom for Katie and Mike, before they danced all night to the Boston party band, Bear Fight. We can’t wait to expand this Berkshire wedding film into a feature film in the coming months.

Our latest Boston Wedding film features Sara and Matt, who came back to their home state of Massachusetts to get married at the 5-star Boston Mandarin Hotel on Boylston Street. The first word that comes to mind when you see these two together is sweet! Just watch their first look and you’ll quickly see the sweet, caring way about these two that makes them a great match.

It was one of those wedding days where everything felt right. Sara and Matt were married by Rabbi Shira Joseph during sundown on the Mandarin Oriental’s beautiful outdoor terrace. The elegance of the event continued from cocktail hour right into the reception in the hotel’s ballroom, which was lit beautifully and decorated even nicer. This wedding had everything from great speeches, to a saxophone playing groom, to a dessert bar including Philadelphia-styled pretzels.

The attention to detail in this wedding was unmatched thanks to Alexis Eliopoulos O’Mara and her team from Unique Weddings by Alexis, as well as Jeff Watson’s team at the Mandarin Hotel. The Mandarin Oriental’s service is as good as it gets in the city of Boston. We got to work alongside photographers Tara and Ben from Hitched Studios who brought an awesome vibe to the day (see their pictures HERE).  Sara and Matt danced the night away to the Band Night Rhthym, which is going to make the dancing portion of their feature film a fun one to edit.
