We met Nonie and Ben through their photographer and our friend, Randall Garnick of Garnick and Moore Photographer. Nonie and Ben met at Providence College, and we quickly saw how Ben brought out the best in Nonie’s quiet persona. The couple was engaged on Valentine’s Day in Iceland in 2014 and planned a summer wedding in 2015.
This Boston Wedding Film would start and finish at the Seaport Hotel in Boston. The preparations included some nice intimate moments and one of my favorite details, Nonie’s grandmother’s bracelet. The bracelet was a traditional piece of jewelry worn by all brides in the Lane family. The two flower girls were just enamored by bracelet in one of the cutest moments of the day.
The ceremony took place in West Roxbury at Holy Name Parish. The couple chose to do a special exit from the church as guests wove white wands with bells down the long church walkway. My other favorite feature of this wedding day was a night photo session we did outside the hotel. A light rain started to fall during the session, which provided some unbelievable images thanks to some off-camera lighting.
In addition to Garnick and Moore, we go to work with a new band called Incadence. The band only performs a few weddings per year, but you would have never known it from the way they handled the emcee duties and kept the dance floor packed all night long. Stapleton Floral Design crafted the flowers, which looked stunning from the bouquets to the centerpieces. Enjoy our latest Boston wedding film from the Seaport District of Boston.
