We met Stephanie and James through our good friends, Katie and Casey, at Katie O. Weddings & Events. With Stephanie’s roots in Boston and the couple having lived in New York City for a while, Stephanie and James chose the Berkshires as a middle ground for their wedding day. They found Gedney Farm to be the perfect location. It provided the natural outdoor setting combined with a rustic feel that they were looking for and it was a beautiful backdrop for our latest Boston wedding film.

The couple had a picture perfect summer day in the Berkshires, as the two got ready in opposite ends of the lodging barn. After a first look and pre-ceremony photo session, the couple was married up on the property’s most picturesque piece of land in front a vast and iconic oak tree. The couple wrote short declarations to each other, which they both read providing an amazing personal touch to the wedding ceremony. The reception moved into the rustic barn on Gedney Farm and included a heartfelt speeches from Stephanie’s sister, Kimberly, and James’ Best Man, Omar. The First Class Band took it from there with the party only stopping one time during the night, and that was for a surprise fireworks show in the neighboring skyline.

With the help of Casey from Katie O, the couple surrounded us with great vendors for this event including the ultra-talented Trisha McCormack Photography. The couple chose greenery and a soft pallet of flowers for their reception decor, which was executed to perfection by Kris Ann Elario and her team from Fleurtatcious Designs. This latest Boston wedding film displays what a wedding outside of the city can look like when planned perfectly.

Speeches at the wedding are one of our favorite, as well as most important moments of the day. We always tell our couples to make sure that their toast-givers tell stories about the couple. How did they meet? What makes them a great couple? You get the gist. But, at the same time, we don’t want to take away the toast-givers connection to the bride and groom.

In the fall of 2014, Best Man Chris Holmes gave a speech to Katie and Mike Barbin that had the ballroom of the Cranwell Resort Spa and Golf Club in stitches. The main story that Chris told was why he knew that Mike was his best friend. It’s a story that is worth the punchline. Therefore, on June 8th, we honor Best Friends Day with one of the best, and funniest stories about friends you will here at a wedding. Share it with your best friend…

Video is a powerful tool when it comes to marketing your business, and many of the great wedding professionals that we work with have started to capitalize on that fact with Identity Films. Identity films are really an ‘about us’ film that lets potential customers know what you exactly do in an engaging fashion. We are creating more and more of these films for not only wedding professionals, but for small businesses around Boston and New England.

Most recently, we had the chance to work on what will be the first of two identity films for Tricia McCormack Photography. Tricia is one of the top wedding photographers in the western half of Massachusetts, as we have been lucky enough to be paired with her on numerous events over the past three years. In addition to photography, she has added a brand new, updated photo booth to her business model in 2015. The photo booth is classic, clean and really adds a fun and exciting element to the weddings we film along side her in the Berkshires.

Last month, we had the opportunity to film Tricia McCormack Photography’s new photo booth on a Friday evening to capture what the experience is all about. The goal of this film was to show the fun, excitement and laughter that this photo booth can create at your event. You could not help, but smile and laugh as the guests continuously filed in and out of the booth with giggles and laughter. The photo booth prints out four-picture sequences for guests to take with them, and then the client gets to see all of the photos after the event. Check out Tricia McCormack’s website HERE, and watch her 90-second Identity film below.

For some couples, it’s love at first sight. For Katie and Mike, love took a little time. But, once the timing was right, Katie and Mike became an amazing match. Their wedding trailer is the quick version of their love story that started in Pelham, New Hampshire, and continued into Boston, Massachusetts. We were bummed that Katie and Mike’s chocolate lab, Bella, wasn’t able to be a part of the day. But, no worries, we found a way to include her in their upcoming feature film.

This Boston couple chose to have a destination wedding in the Bershires of Massachusetts, as they chose the gorgeous and historic Cranwell Resort, Spa & Golf Club as their backdrop. A little rain tried to dampen their day, but great couples, like Katie and Mike, shine despite the rain. Tricia McCormack of Tricia McCormack Photography and I had a great time photographing these two around the showers. We found a great little porch area in the center of Lenox that served as the perfect place to do some of the couples photo session. Carolyn Valenti of Queen Anne’s Lace created an elegant and timeless floral display in Cranwell’s main ballroom for Katie and Mike, before they danced all night to the Boston party band, Bear Fight. We can’t wait to expand this Berkshire wedding film into a feature film in the coming months.

Jonathan and Mark chose to celebrate their marriage in Berkshires of Massachusetts, an area in which they vacation multiple times per year. This Miami couple did a fabulous job with their planner Samatha Talora and Floral Designer Carolyn Valenti in creating gorgeous ceremony  and reception spaces in the afternoon light at the Cranwell Resort, Spa and Golf Club in Lenox, MA.

Mark and John were accompanied by their two children, Hershel and Ava, as they were married under a elegantly decorated Chuppah on the resort’s Rose Terrace. The couple admitted to being a little monogram-happy, as everything from their shirts, to their suits, to the belt loops, to the napkins in the bathrooms carried the Kravitz monogram. One of the highlights of the wedding day was most definitely Jonathan and Mark’s first dance, which was a two-song choreographed performance that includes several dips and lots of pizazz.

For this Boston wedding film, we got to work with so many of the best vendors in the Berkshires, including the fore mentioned Carolyn Valeniti, as well as very-talented photgrapher Tricia McCormack. The Boston band Night Rhythm followed us down the Mass Pike for this wedding and they kept the party going all afternoon long. Despite the rain that fall just outside the Rose Terrace during the cermony, the day was a near perfect one for Jonathan and Mark! Congrats gentlemen!
