Cristina and Alan found us organically through the internet, so it wasn’t until later in the process that we really go to know them. We quickly found out how this Boston couple lives a long-distance relationship of sorts, as Alan’s job has him traveling quite often throughout the year. Travel became a mini-theme of this wedding, and as we found out throughout the weekend, this long distance relationship may be making Cristina and Alan’s connection even stronger.
Although they live in the city, our latest Boston Wedding Film took us up into the Mountains of Vermont. It wasn’t our first wedding film in Stowe, as we survived Hurricane Irene while filming in August of 2011 at the Stowe Mountain Resort. But, this was our first wedding at the Top Notch Resort. We never mind the ride up I-91 through the gorgeous mountains of Vermont once in a while, and this location did not disappoint.
Cristina and Alan chose to have an outdoor ceremony in the fields below the resort and followed that with a tented reception on the property. The film opens with an aerial shot of this beautiful property. We loved the intimate feel of this wedding as the couple chose to have four of their friends share wedding advice during the ceremony. Each couple delivered warm messages, but everyone had a little different meaning or focus. The dancing fun started right away with a semi-choreographed first dance. We loved how Cristina incorporated her personality into the wedding day with a change into cowboy boots for the reception. The details were awesome too from the paper lanterns to the marquis letters to the Rustic tables. Enjoy our latest Boston Wedding Film from Stowe, Vermont.
