Bri + John found us through one of our favorite couples in Becky and Matt Hall. Their Vermont wedding pulled us out of Boston for a picturesque weekend in the quaint town of Dorset. With a northern location in the Green Mountains of Vermont, the leaves were just starting to turn on this September weekend which provided a great landscape for the photo session, as well as during other parts on the day.

The entire wedding took place within walking distance, as the preparations, the ceremony and the reception were almost all on the same street. The preps were filled with laughter and included a sentimental gift exchange between the couple. After a first look in the mountains, the couple were married in the United Church of Dorset. It was one of those small, adorable churches with lots of character.

The reception brought us directly across the street to the Dorset Field Club for an elongated cocktail hour on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. Bri and John’s reception took place under a beautiful tent at the Dorset Field Club. The Field Club is actually the oldest continuously operated gold course in the United States. We enjoyed sharing the day with Alexandra Roberts and the super friendlyTara Pollio from Tara Pollio Floral Event Design. Enjoy our latest Boston wedding film from the Green Mountains of Vermont.

Robyn and Joe had one of the most unique wedding days that we have ever filmed. With an October 17th wedding date, there was peak foliage on Haystack Mountain at the Hermitage Club in West Dover, Vermont. What we didn’t expect was the coating of snow that fell during the second half of the day. The result was our first Boston Wedding Film that saw a couple enjoy photographs on their wedding day in both peak foliage and in the snow.

Robyn and Joe were one of our latest bookings of the year, as they chose a short engagement and found us who somehow had the third weekend in October open (this never happens). The couple chose the ever-expanding Hermitage Club for their wedding venue, which is a great new open space, with a large Cabin-like feel in Southwestern Vermont. The couple chose to have a first look by the lake at the bottom of Haystack Mountain, and then moved back up the mountain for their ceremony and reception inside the Hermitage Club itself.

This Vermont wedding film has lots of great details, including a candle-lined aisle which led to a gorgeous chuppah decorated by Janet Boyd of Boyd Family Farm. Liz Ligon was great to work with on the photography side, and we always love working with the band Honey Train, who filled the dance floor for us for the second time this season.

After a record number of wedding trailer films in 2012, we are excited to see a recent spike in the number of couples starting to add-on these awesome previews of the final product. This wedding trailer comes from a wonderful venue, Riverside Farm in Pittsfield, Vermont. The venue provided an upscale, but yet rural Vermont setting for Jessica Broker and Zach Gavell’s November wedding day.

This Vermont wedding video was the result of a Long Island girl heading to the Green Mountains for college and meeting her future husband. A sweet and relaxed couple, Jessica and Zach’s vision for the day was to have lots of candles and that is exactly what was created by the design team that included Trish from the Pittsfield Garden Center. In addition to the candles, Zach was enamored with the gift book that Jessica gave him during the pre-wedding portion of the day. It was also the first sparkler send-off that we have had in a while, which is always a cool way to end the wedding day.

It was an ever-changing day weather-wise with partly sunny skies for part of the day, before clouds rolled back in for the evening. Working with Paula and Rick from Cronin Hill Photography, DJ Dave and make-up artist Vivian Infantino made this Vermont wedding video a fun one to film.

We take a break from our Boston wedding videos to visit a new popular destination for JPod Productions wedding films, which are the Green Mountains of Vermont. This new popular destination brings us a Vermont wedding video from the towns of Woodstock and Killington on a beautiful day that brought together the sweet Amy Zajdel and the charismatic Justin Laramie for a classic Vermont Wedding. Amy and Justin are a couple that embraces the beautiful landscape of the Vermont Mountains and all they have to offer. Although they have this equal enjoyment of the Green Mountains, I think it is Justin’s outgoing personality matched with Amy’s more conservative demeanor that makes these two a great couple.

Amy and Justin’s wedding had a lot of Vermont charm with the groom helping to build many of the elements of this Vermont Mountain-themed wedding. There was a birch tree archway for the reception entrance, table numbers carved out of actual tree trunks, mason jar favors, and tall, tree branch centerpieces with hanging votives as part of the reception decor. The bride used a pair of yellow wedding shoes and yellow accents in their bridal bouquets to give the wedding a little “wow” factor. Add to that, the groomsman’s cowboy hats and a couple of “Yee-Haws” and you had a great Vermont wedding video.

In this Vermont highlight film, the ceremony took place at Our Lady of the Snows Church in Woodstock, while the preparations and reception were held in the beautiful Killington Grand Resort Hotel on Killington Mountain.  We filmed alongside the great photography team of Rick and Paula Labrecque from Cronin Hill Photography and the party was full of energy thanks to Neil from Starlight Entertainment. The wedding was featured by Vermont Vows wedding blog and the couple also received a wedding trailer which is also located on this Boston Wedding Video blog.

As a Boston wedding videographer,  it is nice to receive a little publicity outside of the city. This week our Amy + Justin wedding video trailer from the Killington Grand Resort Hotel was featured on the Vermont Vows wedding blog. The Vermont Vows blog is run by WellWed magazine which has specific blogs for weddings in Vermont, Nantucket, Cape Cod and the Hamptons. The Green Mountain-themed wedding featured birch trees and limbs decorating the reception, tree-trunk table numbers, cute mason jars for the bridal bouquets and yellow shoes for the bride that really popped.
