When two wedding professionals from your industry that you truly respect come to you to film their wedding, you feel honored, but yet, a little bit more nervous than usual. When one of those professionals is a filmmaker as well, the pressure is even higher. But like the big game, once you start working, you just start doing what you do best. And, when you have an amazing couple like David and Amanda, life gets a little bit easier.

As wedding professionals who have seen their share of weddings, David and Amanda Long planned their wedding weekend with an abundance of sweet touches that really exemplified what their relationship is all about. We love the connections that our couples share on their wedding day, but I’d be hard pressed to find one of our couples who expressed it as well as these two on the wedding day itself. From the exchange of hand written notes, to the thoughtful shared gifts, to the incredible and personal vows, to the look on each of their faces, you felt love in the air all day long.

This Berkshire Wedding Film took place primarily at the Kemble Inn, which is a gilded-aged mansion with a very chic modern charm in Lenox, Massachusetts. The couple took advantage of a few other beautiful venues in the Berkshires, as they did their first look and pictures at the Wheatleigh Mansion, while a gentleman’s poker game took place at the nearby Gateways Inn. It was hard to look around and not see a wedding professional at this wedding between those working and the many guests of the couple. Just a few of the great professionals we shared the working limelight with included Seth Kaye of Seth Kaye Photography, Jim and Lisa Powers of CJC Event Lighting, Wedding Planner Leslie Wiseman of The Wedding Belle and Shawn Santanello of Viren Entertainment. I’ll stop there, because there are so many and they are listed below. The couple received a full feature film (20 minutes), but I’ll tease you with the final minute and 15 seconds, which really captures what this couple is all about. The Clip begins with Amanda’s Grandfather’s toast from the rehearsal dinner and it ends with David and Amanda’s vows. Boston Wedding Decor Video

For the second year in a row, JPod Films was happy to be the video sponsor for Eventiques, an event created by New England Wedding Planners Ruthie McDonald and Lauren Mace of Eutopia Events.  Ruthie and Lauren, with an acceptional team of helpers, put together the event which is subtitled, A Wedding and Event Flea Market. The event took place earlier this spring at the Eastworks Building in Easthampton, Massachusetts. Eventiques allows former brides the opportunity to sell their one-time use, wedding related items from wedding dresses to detail-related items like mason jars, lanterns, vases, wine cork placecard holders, linens and so much more. It’s like a live pinterest board in one locations, and everything is for sale. Wedding planners and brides who are planning their big day have the opportunity to find an amazing array of unique items for their event at prices that are much lower than purchasing them brand new. To see what this event is all about, take a 100-second look back at the event that is growing and growing every year!

Event Sponsors Included Cakes by Amanda, CJC Event Lighting, Cronin Hill Photography, Daisy Stone Studio, Durocher Florist, Forget Me Not Florist, Lattitude Restaurant, Michael’s Party Rentals, The Knot, Love, Inc. Magazine, Rum and Steel, Viren Entertainment, WellWed and Western Woods Coffee.

Corey Condardo made his decision to get his Boston wedding film when he was just a sophomore in high school. One of Corey’s teachers that year, Mrs. Mazzola, told her students how much she cherished her wedding video. Corey said that she was so passionate about how important a wedding video was that she encouraged her students to make sure they budgeted for it on their wedding day. It was at that moment that Corey knew that he would make sure to visually document his wedding day. Thank you Mrs. Mazzola. We’ll be sure to keep a job open for you on our marketing team to promote our Boston Wedding Films.

Skye and Corey were such a pleasure to work with, as they were so laid back and relaxed throughout the wedding day. The couple exchanged heart-felt cards that really showed the true connection between these two and I can help but to get goose bumps at the 4:58 mark of the film. I also got to enjoy my first Vernors ginger ale, as the Detroit-based soda was a requirement for the wedding weekend and was the choice of drink for the bride’s pre-wedding toast. I must admit, it is a very good little pop.

Skye and Corey’s wedding was primarily on the South Shore of Boston with the bride and groom preps taking place at the Adams Inn in Quincy and the reception taking place at Venezia on the Water. Their ceremony took place at the historic Swedenborg Chapel which sits on the edge of Harvard University’s campus in Cambridge. We truly enjoyed working alongside Audrey and Seth from MassArt Photography as well as Shawn Santanello of Viren Entertainment.

I love surprises, but it is so hard to hold onto such a great wedding trailer film until Christmas. That’s what happens when a Kara’s Mom decided to surprise her daughter and new son-in-law with a wedding trailer film for the holidays. After a barrage of Boston wedding films this fall, we spent a Friday night in the Western Mass. hills at Quonquont Farm in Whateley, Massachusetts.  Kara and Matt’s wedding could not have taken place on a nicer, fall day with blue skies and a perfect array of scenery at the farm. The ceremony took place in Quonquont’s apple orchard, which set-up a gorgeous apple tree-lined aisle for Kara and her dad to walk down. The golden hour and sunset photo session had us all gasping in awe, as this beautiful couple filled out the gorgeous scenery in the farm magnificently.

It also makes the day nicer when you are working with an all-star team of vendors from the western half of the state. It was the first of two fall weddings that we shared with Love and Perry Photography, as Shana and Brittney provide the perfect compliment to our shooting style and wedding films. Check out their sneak peak from the wedding HERE. Also, with us throughout the day were wedding planners Ruthie and Lauren from Eutopia Events and Shawn Santanello from Viren Entertainment. What an awesome day! Enjoy our latest Boston wedding film…
